Decision support systems (DSS) introduces basic concept of DSS, the role of DSS in decision making and its relationship with other management support systems within an organization. Students will also learn about strategic applications of DSS including business intelligence, data warehousing as well as data mining. Students will apply the concept learned to develop a DSS project.
